In our Bakad Greater Almaty Ring Road Project, the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), which is one of the financiers of our project together with EBRD and EDB. We hosted H.E. Dr Muhammed Al Jasser and his team.
Mr Ayman Zhanuzakova, Bakad Investment and Operations Director, accompanied them during the visit and provided them with updates.

As part of his ongoing official visit to #Kazakhstan, #IsDB President H.E. Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser visited the BAKAD Ring Road Project in Almaty to witness first-hand this transformative infrastructure initiative co-financed by IsDB, EBRD, and EDB.
The BAKAD road project is Kazakhstan's first large-scale public-private partnership. The project will enhance regional connectivity by diverting traffic from the city center, reducing congestion, enhancing trade and improving air quality.
The 66-km ring road, with a capacity of 38,000 vehicles daily, serves as a critical transport corridor linking major trade routes and stimulating economic growth across Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
