Description of the Project
The turn-key Project consisted of the engineering, procurement and construction of the international airport fitted with all modern mechanical, electrical, electronic and air navigation systems. The construction of the terminal building was carried out on an incomplete structure.
The runway was 3.800 m long and 46 m wide with 7,5 m-wide shoulders on each side. The taxiway was 23 m wide with 10,5 m-wide asphalt shoulders. An approach road of 2.700 m with 2×3 lanes was also in the scope of the project.
